Meet the Team

  • Rev. Phil warren

    Vicar

    Phil leads the church with a heart for worship, community, and helping St Lawrence become an welcoming and inclusive place for all.

  • Phil Huelin

    Church warden

    Phil helps oversee the practical life of the church and supports its ministry within the parish.

  • Vicky Quinn

    Church Warden

    Vicky works alongside the church leadership to support the worship, mission, and day-to-day life of St Lawrence.

    Daniel helps coordinate pastoral support and care within the church community.

    Maureen shares in the pastoral ministry of the church, supporting members of the congregation and parish.

    Church Administrator & Safeguarding Officer

    Divya supports the day-to-day administration of the church and helps ensure safeguarding remains a priority in all areas of church life.

    Friendship & Community Group

    Led by Pauline, Peter, Sue, and Mary, GEMS brings senior members of the community together for friendship, encouragement, and fellowship.

    Children's Group

    Led by Annie, Jane, and Jane, SMARTIES provides a fun, welcoming space where children can play, learn, and make friends.

    Families & Community

    Led by Fi, Liz, Peter, Mary, Pauline, Maureen, Sue, Hilary, and Vicky, Messy Church brings children and families together through creativity, worship, food, and fun.

  • Richard Gough

    Treasurer

    Richard oversees the financial stewardship of the church and supports its ongoing ministry and mission.

  • Peter & Sue Noble

    Licensed Lay Ministers

    Having faithfully served the community for over 20 years, Peter and Sue support the church's worship and ministry, regularly leading and assisting with services.

  • Rui & Ivor

    Groundskeepers

    Rui and Ivor faithfully care for the church grounds, helping keep St Lawrence a welcoming place for all who visit.

Church Life

Church life at St Lawrence centres around worship, friendship, and community.

Alongside our Sunday services, our church ground is used for many activities mid-week, such as Art Groups, Choirs, Social Groups and school visits. There are also seasonal celebrations, and many other opportunities to share life together.

Whether through worship, conversation, or serving others, we seek to grow in faith and support one another in everyday life.

St Lawrence is an Anglican parish church within the Deanery of Jersey and part of the wider Church of England. Our worship and ministry are rooted in the Anglican tradition, drawing on the richness of the heritage while seeking to serve the community with faith, hope, and love.
